Developing the speech of a child reciter and the possibilities of his presenting

The thesis deals with a child - the reciter and looks into ways of recitation. The aim of the thesis is to describe these ways and to map which of them vote children - the reciters and their reciter's guides the most often. The first theoretical part is focused on explanation of basic notions that bind to child recitation and then to analyzing particular phases of recitation process. The second research part is divided into three parts according to used research methods. Via observation method was detected what is the situation on recitation competitions and exhibitions especially within Dětská scéna competition. Survey and structured interwievs were picked for detection of ways of working with children - the reciters.
Speech culture of spokespeople with analysis of Jiří Ovčáček

This bachelor thesis focuses on the practice of speech, specifically the delivery of speech, of spokespeople in the Czech Republic and in this context, it analyses one of the most prominent Czech spokespeople Jiří Ovčáček. It introduces the combination of analytical tools for the analysis of a quality speech with emphasis on orthoepy, phonetics and rhetorical theory. Methods of exact measuring of vowel quality and quantity, speech rate and other acoustic correlates of a charismatic speech as well as methods of auditory analysis of phones and phone structures are introduced. Besides the use of those analytical tools in a practical research, the importance of those methods for analyses of PR experts is discussed. In the practical part, previously described methods are used to analyse the spokesman of the Czech president Jiří Ovčáček. The dataset consisted of five his speeches from 2015 to 2019. The analysis aimed to find and explain specific problems and deficiencies in his articulation, to explore shifts in vowel quality and quantity globally and to measure the speech rate. The part of the analysis is the interpretation and contextualisation of the results as for the current state of speech culture in Czechia. Prosodic analysis of urban music in French and Czech

KEY WORDS : Prosody, metrics, stress, intonation, declamation, rap, reggae This thesis deals with the rhythm, stress and intonation in rap and reggae music. It describes the form features of declamations which combine chant, half- singing and singing, in the theoretical framework of contrastive prosody and verse theory. The thesis consists of seven chapters and is based on a textual corpus of 200 songs in French and Czech, assembled for this dissertation. The linguistic material of 59,000 syllables is a representative set of excerpts, transcribed in rhythmic grids with an auditive analysis. From the prosodic point of view, rap and reggae display an important degree of rhythmic reorganisation. In both languages, setting texts to music is performed ac- cording to an isochronous pattern, which is imposed on the lyrics with an isosyllabic rhythm and whose bound stress system is weak. Specifications of Czech and foreign methods in playing the trombone and subsequent verification in practice

The first part of the thesis is theoretical and defines the basic concepts associated with techniques of playing the trombone. In the following part an analysis of several selected educational and methodology strategies of playing the trombone is carried out. Based on a review of the available literature and the experience of teaching practice three main representatives of methodological directions in teaching how to play the trombone were selected and described. Czech methodological approach is represented by methodology of Jaroslav Ušák, Andre Lafosse and Denise Wick are the representatives of foreign authors. The following section contains an analysis and comparison of these three teaching methodologies, suggesting their positives and negatives. The practical part deals with case studies of students of Conservatory in České Budějovice. Based on the above mentioned methodological analysis, practical experience and physiological, talent and intellectual features of students, the most suitable methodology was suggested for each individual. The conclusion of the thesis focuses on the analysis of observed features during the period studied. The work concludes with interpretation of the collected data, evaluation of the efficiency of the chosen methodology and offers proposals for improvement in the future.
